Privacy policy

Last updated October 27, 2026

The short version

FutureJar is a place to track your savings. You type in your own numbers. We never connect to your bank, and only you can see your Jars.

What we collect

  • Your email address and name, to create and secure your account.
  • The Jars, deposits, withdrawals, notes, target dates and reminders you enter yourself.
  • For kid profiles a parent adds: a first name, an avatar and a birth year. Kids never sign in and have no email or password.
  • Your theme, currency and pay frequency choices.
  • If you subscribe to Premium, Stripe handles your payment. We never see or store your card number. We keep your plan status and a Stripe customer reference.

How we use it

  • To show your Jars and work out how much to save.
  • To send reminder emails you turn on for a Jar (Premium).
  • To run your subscription and to keep the app secure.

We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party ads inside the app.

Services we use

  • Base44, which hosts the app, stores your data and handles sign-in (email or Google).
  • Stripe, for Premium payments and the billing portal.
  • Google Ads measurement on our public pages, which counts when someone signs up after seeing an ad.

Children

FutureJar accounts are for adults. A parent can add kid profiles under their own account and manages everything for them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children directly.

Your choices

  • Edit or delete any Jar at any time.
  • In Settings, choose Delete my account to remove your account, Jars, deposits, reminders and kid profiles. Any active Premium subscription is cancelled at the same time.
  • Turn reminder emails off for a Jar whenever you like.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above.
